THE HILLSIDE AproposedRetirementHouse
DESIGNCONCEPT
With its prominently large windows, decorated with a natural look of wood, white walls, and exposed raw concrete, The concept is in modern contemporary style More than the aesthetics, the house tends to emphasize energy efficiency, sustainable materials and concerned with lots of natural lights Understandably, not all buildings must have balconies However, having a sloping site is an exception Incorporating a balcony would take advantage of the privileged view over the landscape and it will also enhance the natural ventilation that the house receives This natural ventilation, while a source of fresh air, also aids in decreasing the energy bills of your home by becoming less reliant on artificial cooling Interior wise, The social space of the house assumes special relevance and feelings of spaciousness, materialized in a large central living room which extends to the kitchen In addition, The house has wide rooms with some of them having Corner windows Walls to seize the panoramic view of the landscape

WELLSPRING AproposedNationalGovernmentOffice
The proposed national government office offers a stately yet opaque architectural vision of civic duty, purpose, and efficient design Essentially, the approach of the building aims to flip the conventions of civic design thus having the exterior in modern contemporary style fused with Filipino architecture in its interiors The building is deliberately designed with the aim to promote a renewed sense of community trust and business partnership within the city In addition, the spatial plans were of high consideration as it is key to maximizing flexibility and in achieving a workplace that promotes high productivity
INTERIORPERSPECTIVES
Employees working in office lounge areas are more productive than those who work in offices without them This is according to several research papers that have proven that an office lounge area can indeed improve productivity in employees It is one of the main reasons why many modern officeskeepthesespaces
A well-designed working office is of significant importance for several reasons, as it can have a substantial impact on the productivity, wellbeing, and success of both employees and the organization as a whole In that sense this, a well-designed office can foster creativity and innovation andcanleadtomoreeffectivecollaborationandproblem-solving

PAMBANSANGPALIPARANNGPILIPINAS AproposedRedevelopmentoftheNinoyAquinoInternationalAirport
DESIGNCONCEPT
There is a vital link between architecture and culture Thus, uniting the distinct architectural character of Mactan and Clark International Airport with the proposed redeveloped NAIA would make an identity for Filipino Aviation Architecture As travelers move through airports, they experience a series of different environments – from the bustling street outside to the terminal building, and finally to their gate Each of these spaces has its own unique atmosphere and design
The Philippines is called Asia's pearl of the orient for the richness of its culture and beauty of its landscapes Therefore, the Copen+Hagen team chose to use the clam's shell as the design inspiration for its shape Airport architecture has evolved over the years to meet the changing needs of travelers In the early days of aviation, airports were simply open fields where planes could take off and land But as air travel became more popular, airports needed to be able to accommodate larger numbers of passengers and airplanes
Today, airport design is all about creating an efficient and enjoyable travel experience To do this, architects need to consider everything from the flow of traffic to the location of amenities And with more people traveling than ever before, it's more important than ever to get airport design right The group decided to use Urban Oasis design This involves creating green spaces within the airport terminal that can provide travelers with a moment of calm amidst the chaos of air travel These oases can take many different forms, from small gardens to large parks

HEXAD

DESIGNCONCEPT
Commonly, squares and rectangles emerge as the main options when designing The same way that arches and circular plans are our go-to form The role of geometric shapes in the architectural composition is endless However, we cannot forget a polygon that also serves its purpose: the HEXAGON

ARCHITECTURAL INTERIORS
Nothing beats an ergonomically designed kitchen with adequate lighting and space for circulation
Starting this series with The Meadow View House designed with muted tones and inviting textures
In that sense, not only it reimagines your kitchen experience but also fosters efficiency

ARCHS AND FLUFFS
Arched windows add a touch of architectural elegance and sophistication to any living space Their curved design creates a sense of grandeur and make a room feel more luxurious Furthermore, it exudes timeless quality that can withstand changing design trends
Ambiance wise, the visual cohesion achieved through the muted tones of the interior reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being, making them suitable for spaces where relaxation and comfort are of great demand Moreover, the contrast in the surface texture of the furniture, walls, and ceilings catches the eye and adds visual intrigue to a room
12
THE FOREST LODGE
The objective was to seamlessly integrate the interior with the forest setting and create an illusion that the nature enters the house. The material and color palette of the landscape were picked up and applied on the design resulting to an impression that the interior is still part of the forested landscape It is as if one could feel like he's sitting in the forest but with added sense of warmth and comfort
13
THE TROPICAL SKILLION
Sitting as a place of calm composure under the blaze of the hot summer sun, the interior offers a quiet reprieve from the elements, where contemporary refinement meets vernacular imperfectability The interior is nothing new from most southeast Asian tropical houses; with tropical trees, large foliage, and open plans that allow unobstructed airflow
Furniture wise, ’ , the sofa you ’ re probably seeing everywhere on instagram, gives a beautiful contrast to the tropical living space
