Our advanced body armor systems are specifically designed to help protect Corrections officers against spikes, shanks and other potentially lethal weapons typically found in corrections facilities. Tested and certified by NIJ, our body armor systems provide exceptional torso, bicep, neck and groin protection against ice picks and other sharp edged, pointed weapons. We offer high performance stab packages in (Spike 1, 2 or 3), optional Edge Weapon Level III protection, as well as combo packages that offer ballistic and spike protection.

Body armor that is ballistic resistant does not necessarily make it stab or puncture resistant (and vice versa). Sharp edged and hand made instruments with pointed tips such as spikes, awls or shanks generally do not need to tear the fabric to penetrate - it merely moves the fibers aside. Point Blank utilizes a combination of super fine, ultra dense materials, which prevent pointed objects from spreading or moving the individual yarns to stop penetration /puncture.

MICH The MICH helmet features a reduced weight, higher cut at the back and sides and removal of the front peak. This new low profile helmet provides excellent compatibility with communications equipment, gas masks and helmet mounted night vision goggles. Each year, Point Blank honors law enforcement officers that have been saved by our protective products through our National Saves Appreciation Program. In December 2023, we had the opportunity to meet the most remarkable individuals who truly epitomize courage, bravery and dedication. These incredible men and women spanning over a dozen states across the U.S. attended our annual Saves Awards Event in Pompano Beach, Florida. Throughout the event, officers were able to share their experiences with other officers and their respective families.
