No big secret, but Auburn’s streets are in bad shape, and the City doesn’t have the bucks it once had in the budget to fix the big ones. Which is why the Transportation

Benefit District Board (TBD) expects on Monday to consider and possibly approve a $20 car tab fee and to mull possible options, strategies and actions for raising money to make sorely-needed transportation fixes within the district.

The maintenance-andoperation levy comprises 21 percent of the Auburn School District’s funding. senior, captured the Miss Auburn title, moments after Seifert, 16, a sophomore at Kennedy Catholic High School, took Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen crown at the Performing Arts Center. Werden earned $7,335 in scholarships and gifts from the program, one of the largest of its kind in the country.
