Black Diamond incumbents losing BY DENNIS BOX Editor
The first results posted Tuesday night for the November general election showed the incumbent Black Diamond City Council members Craig Goodwin and Ron Taylor on the losing end of the numbers to challengers Brian Weber and Pat Pepper. In Maple Valley Dana Parnello and Les Burberry held comfortable leads in their City Council races. Mary Jane Glaser also cruised to a healthy lead for her Tahoma School Board position. The King County Best Starts for Kids proposition was winning. The results will be updated Monday through
Friday on the King County Elections website until Nov. 24 when the election will be certified by the Canvassing Board.
