POULSBO — Retired principal Glen Robbins and school board member Scott Henden were the two top vote-getters in the primary election for North Kitsap School Board District 4, Aug. 4. According to updated election results on Aug. 5, Robbins received 3,831 votes, Henden received 2,653 and Loretta Byrnes, a program analyst, received 1,531.

Seven arrested in multi-agency prostitution sting in Poulsbo STAFF REPORT
POULSBO — Five women were arrested for prostitution late last week at the GuestHouse Inn & Suites in Poulsbo, in a multi-agency sting operation. Arrested, according to court documents: a 23-year-old from Bainbridge Island, a 43-year-old from Bremerton, a 22-year-old from Port Orchard, a 22-year-old from Kent and a 23-year-old from Spanaway.

A 29-year-old San Antonio, Texas woman was arrested for promoting prostitution in the second degree, a felony. A Bremerton man was also arrested on suspicion of promoting prostitution in the second degree. Bremerton Police said they planned to refer the case to the Kitsap County Prosecutor’s Office.
