BREMERTON—Bremerton Police arrested a former 28-year-old Navy Corpsman June 18 in the death of a 19-month-old boy.
David Betancourt was alone with Kaden Ray Richardson for the final 11 hours of his life April 7. Kaden was the son of Betancourt’s girlfriend, Kylee Richardson, 18. Betancourt lived with Richardson and was the primary

BREMERTON—In a show of solidarity, the Bremerton School District Board of Directors sent a letter to state legislature June 19 demanding it fully fund education.
“The board stands in unison with its employees in demanding that the Washington State Legislature fulfills its duty to fully fund public education for students,” the letter read. SEE SCHOOL BOARD, A9
