The Bonney Lake Senior Center welcomed the holiday season with a concert by the Victor Falls Elementary choir on Dec. 12. The choir of 64 fourth and fifth grade students led by Mark Edgbert performed a variety of holiday tunes to a room packed with senior citizens and parents. Along with singing, the choir included dancing to correspond with some of their songs. The Victor Falls choir will return to the senior center in the spring to perform once again. “Mark doesn’t get enough credit for the performance,” Senior Services Manager Sue Hilberg said. “It’s all on him to get all those kids to focus and perform.” The Victor Falls Elementary choir sang holiday favorites at the Bonney Lake Senior Center, Dec. 12 . It also helps to keep meetings running in the case that the mayor is absent or no longer able to serve, he added. The deputy mayor is also in charge of coordinating activities within the other committees and setting agendas.
