Ballots for the recall election of Pacific Mayor Cy Sun are expected to arrive in mailboxes this week. Sun According to Kim van Eckstrom, King County Department of Elections chief communications officer, the ballots for the June 25 special election were mailed on Wednesday. “They should be showing up in mailboxes on Thursday and Friday,” van Eckstrom said. According to the ballot, Pacific voters will decide whether to remove Sun from office for allegedly committing malfeasance and violating his oath of office.

The mobile eatery revolution has come to Pacific, courtesy of Big Boy’s Filipino Food Truck. Foodies, culinary enthusiasts and the curious can get a taste of Nate Daep’s and Melanie Querubin’s innovative menu at
