An Edmonds man who was allegedly suicidal was injured after an officer opened fire at his pickup truck in Bothell on Friday afternoon. He was treated at the scene near the Bothell/
Kenmore border for unspecified injuries and transported to Harborview Medical Center. The shooting occurred after the man’s wife called police around 1:30 p.m. on Friday to report that her husband was suicidal, said Mountlake Terrace police Cmdr. Don Duncan. She
said her husband left their Edmonds home in his pickup truck. Police located the truck near SR 104 and I-5 and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. A low-speed chase ensued when the driver would not stop, said Duncan. After approximately half a mile
