Financial salesman charged with fraud By Dennis Box Editor
Aaron Travis Beaird, an Enumclaw financial services and life insurance salesman, is in custody and facing federal fraud charges. According to U.S. Western District Court charging documents, Beaird, who worked for Team Financial Services in Enumclaw, is being charged with “devising a scheme to defraud and obtain money by means of false pretenses, representations and promises.” The document stated, “To date, investigative inquires indicate that Aaron Travis Beaird defrauded at least five clients of approximately $2 million dollars.” Beaird faked his suicide and traveled to Scotland, landing overseas on June
26. He returned to the U.S. July 2 and was arrested at SeaTac airport upon his arrival. He is in custody at the Federal Detention Center at SeaTac. He had a detention hearing Monday. Charging papers outline an alleged scheme where Beaird diverted payments on a life insurance policy into his personal account, provided false documents and fraudulent statements “to induce the sale.” According to the U.S. Attorney, Beaird, “induced D.B. to purchase a new (American United Life Insurance Company) policy with purportedly more advantageous terms and conditions.” D.B. is a retired Northwest Airlines

elli Taylor, a graduate of White River High School who earned a degree from Central Washington University this spring, had the honor of playing taps on her bugle at the Arlington National Cemetery. She performed with buglers from throughout the nation, all members of Bugles Across America. A solemn aura surrounds Arlington National Cemetery.
