Cops arrest two professional burglars

Nursing home sex: Residents have right to romance

Burglary rates in the city have dropped significantly in the past month, thanks to the arrests of two professional burglars by the Federal Way Police Department.

Suspects targeted Twin Lakes and Marine Hills areas Police Chief Brian Wilson said the two suspects were as professional as they come. “Over the last month, we made significant arrests for residential

burglary. Two individuals, specifically, that were responsible for burglaries in the Twin Lakes and Marine Hills areas, as well as other areas in the city,” Wilson told the

city council July 3. “They were responsible for multiple burglaries. They were a professional outfit. One suspect claimed they worked ‘Bankers Hours’ — 10 o’clock to 2 o’clock.”

One nursing home’s staff closed the drapes and door whenever a younger dementia patient, free of inhibitions, had disrobed and was ready to party. An Alzheimer’s patient introduced her boyfriend to the husband who visited daily. Another man thought his new girlfriend was really his wife. One lady walked down the hall, holding hands with two different men, kissing whoever passed by. Regardless of a nursing home resident’s age or mental capacity, they need touch and affection. Debates will take place at the Federal Way High School little theatre, at South 308th Street and Pacific Highway South.
