Lopez had several overall first place finishes: Senior Jamie Cummins won both the 800-meter run and 100meter hurdles, and Senior Marina Steinbrueck won the shot put and took second in the discus, edged out by only two inches. Junior Solomon Bill continued his domination in the distance events, winning both the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs. Other outstanding performances included Ninth Grader Brianne Swanson, who tied for first overall in the 100-meter dash, and took first in 1B and was second overall in the 200meter dash.
