Bonney Lake storm costs top $235,000 By Brian Beckley Staff Writer

Estimates are in and according to officials in Bonney Lake, last month’s snow and ice storm cost the city more than $235,000. Bonney Lake officials have prepared a report for the county

as part of preliminary damage assessment detailing the impact on the city’s budget. Reports from all cities in Pierce County will be compiled into a report that will go to the state in hopes of receiving a Federal Emergency Management

Sumner residents are being warned to watch for a black man in his mid-20s allegedly exposing himself to girls in the city. According to a press release from the city of Sumner, the man asked girls over to his car to ask for directions and then exposed himself to them. Both incidents occurred in the early evening hours. A third incident occurred in Puyallup, just outside Sumner city limits, when he exposed himself to joggers.
