which often confounds and disrupts—can be harnessed for incredible good.

Remember, you’re not alone on this journey. Whether you’re headed to college, trade school, military service, the workforce, or somewhere else entirely, you’ll find companions who will walk beside you through life’s pivotal moments. Some of you have already found friends for life, and many will rely on family members to help navigate the challenges ahead.

As Nelson Mandela wisely said, true bravery isn’t the absence of fear but the triumph over it: “I learned that courage was not absence of fear, but the triumph over it.”
