The group is an operator of territorial and sustainable development. Involved in the main anchor projects in Morocco, the CDG group is an institutional investor. It aims at contributing to the economic and social development of the country. For instance, the CDG concluded a strategic partnership with the Egyptian group Orascom concerning the Oued Chbika project. This seaside resort project aims at developing the touristic potential of the Moroccan South. Moreover, the CDG group includes a department focused on territorial development, which is involved in five projects relevant to the CMI urban programs: - Agence pour l’Urbanisation et le Développement d’Anfa (AUDA), cf. description - Société d’Aménagement Communal (Sonadac), focused on the urban rehabilitation of the areas surrounding the Hassan II Mosque and the new cornice of Casablanca. - Société d’Aménagement Zenata, dedicated to the urban planning of the new town Zenata, located in Ain Harrouda. - Jnane Saïss Développement aims at implementing a large urbanization project in Fes Boulemane region, creating an urban development platform, promoting investments in this region, including the cities of Aïn Chkef and Aïn Cheggag. - Patrilog, is in charge of social housing dedicated to the military staff, improving living conditions (equipments, parks, leisure activities).
