Dearest Gentle Reader of Our Beloved Sisterhood,

Summer was filled with respite and rest, renewal and restoration. September is now upon us, and we are called to make the most of the final quarter of this sororal year. How are you looking to make the most of the remaining year? Does it look like inviting a beloved soror, who is looking for a home, to visit our chapter meeting or reclamation event? Ramping up your efforts to get out the vote through voter registration, education, mobilization, and protection? How are you considering stepping up to serve in a new way? Considering random acts of sisterly kindness?

Our Beloved Sisterhood and our chapter specifically, has need of you. You have gifts, talents, and skills that support our chapter that is “small enough to know you and large enough to serve you.” Your gifts of organization and administration are needed to prepare us for our upcoming standards evaluation. Your loving kindness is needed to strengthen our bonds of sisterhood. Your passion for our community and empathy for our neighbors are essential in making our service program the best it can be. Quintessentially, your graceful sparkle and sisterly love coupled with your excellence in leadership and passion to serve are exactly what we need to propel Phi Nu Omega forward.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated

The Theta Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated is hosting their 57th Annual Black & Gold Masquerade Ball. Masks are optional. It will be held on October 12th at 6pm at the Old Town Alexandria Westin. The Westin in Old Town Alexandria is located at 400 Courthouse Square, Alexandria, VA 22314. Tickets can be purchased from the code on the flyer.
