Court of Appeal in Abia has nullified the election of the incumbent Governor of
the state, Mr Okezie Ikpeazu, and asked him to vacate his seat. In its judgement yesterday, the Appeal Court declared the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate, Mr Alex Otti, the
winner of the State’s Governorship election and ordered his swearing in as governor of Abia state. Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party was declared winner of the election held in
April by the Independent National Electoral Commission. Aggrieved by perceived discrepancies, Mr Otti approached the appellate court for redress,
