CBD QUESTIONS There are a lot of misconceptions about CBD out there, so let us tackle a few common questions!
WHAT IS CBD? CBD stands for cannabidiol, one of the many cannabinoids found in both marijuana and hemp.
WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS? There are over 100 unique chemical compounds found in both marijuana and hemp called cannabinoids. The two most famous of these are CBD and THC. THC is the compound found in marijuana that gets you “high.” CBD is the non‑psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp that has recently received much attention.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CANNABIS AND HEMP? Marijuana and hemp are two varieties of the same plant species, Cannabis sativa. Hemp has been cultivated to contain very low levels of THC (0.3% or less) and high levels of CBD. Nature’s Ultra products contain zero percent (0.0%) THC.
