Delta is considering its options for upgrading the intersection at Ladner Trunk Road and Arthur Drive, and turning it into a roundabout is one possibility. Steven Lan, Delta’s director of engineering, confirmed the municipality is looking at two options for the intersection: upgrading the current signal light or going with a roundabout. He said staff will present both options to Delta council at a closed workshop next week before coming back with a report at a public meeting later in the year. “It’s pretty preliminary right now,” Lan said. Delta purchased the parcel at the southeast corner of Ladner Trunk Road and Arthur Drive that was formerly home to KFC and an office. The building has since been demolished to make room for the intersection upgrades and green space expansion.
