Foreign countries and the region European Networks
The programme of Pilsen – European Capital of Culture 2015 has been compiled to support the partnerships of programme organisers in European cultural networks:

• P ilsen 2015 is a proud member of In Situ, an European network for art creation in public space. In Situ is supported by the European Commission in the frame of the new Creative Europe´s program European Platforms. The network is now composed of 18 members from 13 countries and is coordinated by Lieux Publics in Marseille. Pilsen 2015 will host a In Situ meeting of emerging artists and art directors in March 2015 and different public discussions with ambassadors of the network during the year 2015.
We are working on co-productions with the following European partners: • L e Théâtre Du Jeu De Paume, Aix en Provence – a co-production of the theatre show Beau Matin Aladin • Théâtre Manége Mons – a co-production of the UBUdneS show • Cirk La Putyka and Cirkus Cirkör – preparatory work on the co-production of a new show inspired by puppets
• W e are members of the international platform In Situ focusing on art in the public space. • The Pilsen independent centre Johan is a member of the Trans Europe Halles network. • We are working with the Prague Art Institute on a networking and education project in arts management called SPACE. • We are members of the strategic initiative A Soul for Europe (Duše pro Evropu). • Pilsen 2015 is partnering with the Cross Invitation project, which explores art sectors in Europe and has a strong link to the knowhow for the Culture Factory Světovar as an intermediary for creative industry in Pilsen. • Together with other members of the ECoC family, we are processing an application for the Creative Europe programme for artist residencies and networks for workers’ exchanges. • Thanks to a renewed collaboration with the Tanec Praha festival, we have been able to organise the Aerowaves meeting for spring 2016 in Pilsen. • In the wake of the conference called Culture-friendly City, which we organised, we are developing an informal network of Czech cultural centres in order to support our position within the creative industry, knowledge exchange and meetings. • In 2014, Pilsen 2015 became a member of the international network ResArtis associating residency centres world-wide.
