Raise & Give

Welcome Note Hello to all of our lovely Freshers and Returners and welcome to this year’s RAG MAG! We are so proud to introduce you to a volunteering body that really makes a difference, and welcomes all! RAG hosts a number of different activities and events, led by students to help raise money for charity. Last year alone the RAG committee and student body worked together to raise approx. £232,000! Our hope this year is to get more of you involved, to raise awareness and funds. Our committee is made up of a range of students studying different subjects, with different interests, and if you want to get involved all that’s needed is the desire to help, and to give up a little time. Last year our events included: pizza eating and take

me out; to climbing Everest and our first ever Jailbreak; as well as our very glamorous flagship event: the Winter Ball! There is something for everyone, whether you want to take part or run the event. There is no charge for our membership, and we really think you will enjoy taking part and doing a little more with your time here at Plymouth University. RAG will also help support you with any of your own fundraising you would like to lead, and are very fortunate to have the resources and support to help make a great experience. So get in touch! Get involved! Make the difference! Thanks! Rag President: Porsche Miste McGregor-Sims porsche.mcgregor-sims@students.plymouth.ac.uk

Vice President: Kathryn Henny
