RAG GENERAL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS Nominations 18th February – 1st March Voting 4th – 8th March


Events Team  Lead by the Event Officers  To meet at least bi-weekly  Coordination of events, planning and logistics


Health & Safety coordinator Creating risk assessments for all RAG activities and be accountable for Union rules on health & safety. To attend first aid training.

Ball coordinator To develop and grow RAG run balls and big events. Coordinate the logistics, promotion, recruitment and volunteers for the event. To work in conjunction with other sports clubs and societies.


RAG week coordinators (role share) To run a week of unusual fundraising activities aimed at the whole campus. RAG weeks are to be run in both term 1 and term 2. Aim to put on a good variety of events to cater to all student types.

Raids coordinators (role share) To organise and recruit for Mega raids, Plymouth town and SU raids for an appropriate breath of charities. Support for challenge and adventure fundraisers where appropriate. To develop new and exciting locations and possibilities for raids.


International Adventure Leader (2 individual roles) Must be available to attend the trips they are leading on and achieve the direct charitable fundraising target of the trip. Each international adventure leader will lead on a different trip (e.g. climb kili, everest base camp, south china seas, etc). Target of 20 students each to recruit onto the trips and then to support in their fundraising. Weekend away training session will be provided by student adventures. Challenge coordinator The promotion and recruitment of students onto challenges (e.g. bungee jump, sky dive, hitches, marathons etc). Fundraising support and event organisation assistance to challenge participants. Develop the range of challenges on offer.


Campaigns coordinator To work on National charity campaigns, especially Movember, Children In Need and Red Nose Day. Though RAG encourages this to be expanded on. Must engage and recruit other student to get involved in the campaigns and put on events as well as running events themselves for RAG.


Promo & Resources Team  Lead by the Promotions & Recruitment officer. Treasurer also to sit on this team.  To meet at least bi-weekly  Coordination of promotions and recruitment of events and RAG as a whole.


Sports & Societies coordinator To engage sports clubs and societies in one off events and national campaigns (to work closely with campaigns coordinator). Encourage more collaboration between RAG and these groups. Representation coordinator To engage and recruit international, postgrad and partner college students in RAG events. To highlight and act upon gaps in our event offering if students are missing out.


Hall Rep coordinators To recruit RAG hall reps during and preceding freshers week. To support and activityly assist hall reps in event planning. To keep record of hall rep ticket selling. To provide regular meetings and activities for Hall reps to take part in. Design coordinator Experience in image manipulation to create beautiful and engaging promotion material for RAG in a timely manner. Also responsible for the ordering of promotion materials along with Promo & Resource


Web coordinator To maintain the RAG website and social media sites. Work closely with Design to develop the brand identity of RAG and ensure communications are effective and clear.
