Learn for Free is a free training programme for PCH tenants and leaseholders. The courses are free if you are working or not. These courses include a free buffet lunch and we can also help with the cost of transport and childcare. Training subjects for Spring 2014 CERTIFICATED FIRST AID An accredited full day First Aid course. Useful for your CV and also when organising community events LEVEL 1 FOOD HYGIENE A half day certificated course (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) which covers all aspects of food hygiene CUSTOMER SERVICE LEVEL 1 A two day (10 hours) customer service course with a 1 hour exam (City & Guilds) Will cover good customer service and effective methods of communication HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON YOUR BILLS Learn how to save money on your bills with South West Water, the Energy Co-op, the City of Plymouth Credit Union and the Citizen’s Advice Bureau. A full day course HOW TO USE YOUR COMPUTER TABLET A one day course learning how to use your tablet with Get IT Together. Bring your tablet along or ask to borrow one from us when booking Interested? Drama Workshops Our Space offer free drama workshops with Plymouth Mind to help people build their confidence whilst learning theatre skills in a fun way. No previous experience is needed; they meet weekly, and can help with the cost of transport and refreshments. Get IT Together Get IT Together Plymouth is a project funded by key organisations across Plymouth to enable people to get online and use IT.
