Two dudes from South Atlanta, Georgia, Nik Van Veer and Sam Scholand, aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. They love 90’s Hondas, outdoor activities, and most importantly, building stuff. Their passion for fingerboarding led them to start NUK FBS when they realized they didn’t have any parks to ride.
Inspired by an FB event hosted by AllGood, they fell in love with the diverse fingerboard parks and obstacles and decided to try building their own. Starting with a replica of Nik’s hometown park in Peachtree City, GA, they honed their skills and developed their unique style.
Their most memorable moment? The first session with their first park, Peach Park. The stoke and energy in the room fueled their passion to keep building. For Nik and Sam, the building process is just as rad as the final product. Every build session is a collaborative jam, bouncing ideas off each other and experimenting with new techniques.
NUK FBS is stoked to be part of the tight-knit fingerboard community. They’re looking forward to collaborating with other creators and artists, sponsoring events around Atlanta, and hosting their own NÜK Exclusive events with their custom-built parks and obstacles.
They’re hyped about future projects, including NUK fingerboard decks, custom wheels, apparel, slaps, and above all, their unique, hand-sculpted fingerboard parks.

Erik Wilson – AKA Rocfingerboards – is a name buzzing through the fingerboarding community with steady momentum.
Hailing from Rochester, NY, Erik embodies the true DIY spirit of fingerboarding. He’s not in it for fame—he’s in it for the love of the scene, the culture, and the craft. Quietly grinding, always improving, and constantly supporting others, Rocfingerboards is the type of rider who lifts the whole community just by doing his thing.
His fingerboarding journey began way back in elementary school, messing around with Tech Decks like so many of us. Life happened, and he stepped away for a while. But when the world hit pause during the Covid era, Erik hit play. He launched his @ rocfingerboards account and dove in headfirst, building clips, connecting with
fellow fingerboarders, and reigniting his passion for the scene.
Fast forward to now, and Roc is officially on the map. He rides for Bloob, Zegheads, and ABC Parks, repping each brand with heart and creativity. He’s even earned a pro model with Bloob, available now on their website—proof of how far dedication and authenticity can take you.
One of Erik’s standout memories is finally meeting Jamie from Bloob at the 2024 Boards by the Beach event. After years of friendship online, the two finally linked in person, cementing a connection built on shared love for fingerboarding. But the real game-changer?
His first Rendezvous. The energy, the community, and the stoke
of being surrounded by legends and newcomers alike made a deep impact. He’s been hooked ever since.
Right now, Roc is deep in a new project that’ll be filmed at Rendezvous and FBCon, teaming up with a crew of fingerboarders he’s looked up to for years. Big things are on the way.
Follow @rocfingerboards on Instagram to keep up with the journey, new clips, projects, and whatever comes next for this humble but heavyhitting rider.
It all started 14 years ago—just a kid with a Tech Deck and a whole lot of restless energy. Muck, a skater at heart, found solace in the snap and grind of fingerboarding. What started as a fidget turned into a full-blown passion—deck in hand, every damn day. The story of MuckFB isn’t some overnight TikTok sensation. It’s punk rock and plywood. It’s blood, sweat, and resin. At the time, Muck was working alongside his dad, Pops, remodeling interiors and building cabinets. But the grind didn’t hit the same. The real spark came when Muck pitched the idea of fingerboard deck making. They started with a Gator mold—far from perfect, but it was something. The obsession grew, and with Pops backing him financially, they upgraded to NFB molds and legit tools. “To make money, you gotta spend money,” Pops said. He wasn’t wrong.
Pops caught the bug too— started fingerboarding and building decks right alongside Muck. Inspiration came from OGs like Goo, who dropped just enough wisdom about recycling real skate decks. With Pops’ 30 years of carpentry, they cracked the veneer code and got to work.
What followed was a quiet revolution. No hype beast antics—just small-batch, one-of-a-kind decks that spoke to the soul of the scene. They weren’t trying to be the biggest. Just the realest.
From those humble roots came Entity Wheels, another DIY-born venture. The learning curve was steep, but the commitment stayed sharp. Through all the trials, MuckFB built a reputation for authenticity and killer customer service. They’ve sponsored events, supported up-and-comers, and kept it all grassroots.
Today, MuckFB runs two squads: a deck team and a wheel team, built from real fans turned riders. And through every DM, tag, and trick clip, the legacy keeps rolling. This ain’t just a business. It’s a movement—scrappy, stubborn, and rolling full speed ahead. @muck_fb

Rodney Nieves - 29, @fb.rods is a proud skater and fingerboarder repping Cayey, Puerto Rico with pure corazón. With 13 years on the board and a camera in hand, he’s all about chasing new spots, good vibes, and that next clip. Self-taught behind the lens, Rodney sharpened his skills studying Thrasher, GX1000, SK8Mafia, and DGK edits—watching how the trick hits, how the angle flows, and how the energy comes through.
Now, whether it’s out skating with the crew or deep in the mountains camping with a fingerboard in his pocket, Rodney finds joy in the grind—literally and spiritually.
His journey into fingerboarding started back in high school with OG Tech Decks, but things got real about a year and three months ago when he leveled up with Pro FB setups. Since then, it’s been nothing but fun, progression, and community. He says fingerboarding even helps sharpen his skateboarding.
Rodney rides for Poquet Wax, SXL, and Ryse Fingerboards. He’s currently repping the Xava Maldonado pro model by Ryse, and also has a Hawaii.FB x Ryse collab in rotation. One of his favorite fingerboard memories? Scoring his first pro deck—Maple Lab Boards— at a local Puerto Rican fingerboard meetup. A random raffle at a skateshop, good people, and real love for the scene. That’s what made it feel like home.
Rodney’s message? “We’re gonna keep pushing. This community’s only getting stronger.”
In Whittier, California, nestled between fatherhood and a steady stream of creative content, Christopher Vargas—known Online as @Fb.Christopher—is quietly helping shape the future of fingerboarding culture. A lifelong skater and storyteller, Vargas found his way back to fingerboarding during the lockdowns, trading his tour life and stage lights for decks and DIY.
Fingerboarding, for him, was more than nostalgia—it was a reconnection. “Skateboarding was my world growing up,” Vargas says. “Fingerboarding just picked up where that left
off.” What started with a kickflip on a side table quickly turned into a digital passion project, thanks to a nudge from his wife and a perfectly timed pandemic. His first video? A test. The response? A tidal wave. Now the host of The Bigspin Podcast and a key figure in the West Coast fingerboard scene, Vargas has built a platform rooted in authenticity and community. His brand began
with low-budget DIY videos and grew into long-form reviews, event vlogs, and interviews with legends like the founders of Blackriver.
His Sunday Sessions pop-ups in Whittier—powered by Blackriver— have become an inclusive hub for fingerboarders of all ages and backgrounds.
On the sponsor side, Vargas rides for Piro Wheels and Kalye Decks, two brands he championed long before joining. “It had to feel right,” he says. “It’s always been about the people behind the product.”
Memories? He’s got plenty. From cohosting Fast Fingers in Germany to filming with Blackriver and Slushcult in LA, Vargas has turned his passion into a passport. And with the Thicc Boi 3 graphic dropping soon and a wave of new podcast episodes on deck, he’s just getting started. As Vargas puts it, “I’m just here to keep it fun, keep it real—and keep it rolling.”

In Angers, France, the first fingerboard event of the year took place on April 12. Thanks to the determination of Soon Fingerboards and the local skateshop Crips, the event brought together almost 40 riders from across the country, some traveling over 7 hours to participate.
The event featured four different parks, with three available for purchase after the event. As the contest began around 4 p.m., experienced riders and young enthusiasts alike showcased their skills. The atmosphere was electric, with decks flying and tricks landing to cheers from the crowd.
The competition was fierce, with riders giving their best and pushing the limits of what’s possible. In the end, TheQuestion Baby took first place with a wild run, impressing the crowd and judges.
Soon, the founder of Soon Fingerboards, expressed gratitude to the participants, saying, “Thank you all for coming and making the trip near and far! It was truly an incredible day, strong and full of beautiful emotions.” Haplos World, a prominent figure in the French fingerboarding scene, added, “It was really crazy, some of us had been talking for over a year, finally meeting each other and putting faces to names was necessary for the evolution of the French scene.” The event marked a significant milestone for the French fingerboarding community, and its success is expected to pave the way for future events.
Out in Cambridge City, Indiana, where the backroads hum and stories get etched into skin, Zach Lowhorn is carving his own legacy. As the owner and lead artist at Alien Earth Tattoo Studio, he’s a man with ink in his veins and a deck always within reach—albeit a much smaller one these days.
A skater since he was nine, Zach’s life changed course after a motorcycle accident left him unable to ride. The streets he once shredded became memory, but the rhythm of movement never left him. That’s when fingerboarding filled the gap—not as a replacement, but as a new canvas. “It kept me connected to skate culture, to creativity, to that constant need to move,” he says.
But tattooing? That wasn’t always the plan. “I didn’t want it at first,” Zach admits. A friend offered him an apprenticeship. He turned it down. More than once. Eventually, though, the idea stuck—and like every great second act, it came with resistance, mistakes, and revelations. What started as survival became obsession. “I began seeing tattoos the way a skater sees a ledge—something full of potential if you just approach it right.”
Since going full-time in 2019, Zach’s studio has become a crossroads of art, community, and unexpected passion. His most unforgettable moment? Tattooing Ukrainian metal titans Jinjer—long nights, shared stories, permanent marks. And when it comes to fingerboarding, it’s the joy on visitors’ faces when they stumble upon the parks inside his shop that stands out. “It bridges worlds.”
Now, he’s wrapping up big tattoo projects, clearing space for what’s next—new ink, new decks, and more creative combustion.

In the heart of Yogyakarta, Indonesia—a city known for its deep cultural roots and thriving creative scene—Hilman Habibi is quietly building a world of his own. Born and raised in this artistic hub, Hilman has been immersed in visual expression since childhood. After completing school, he pursued formal studies at an art university, where his eye for design and proportion found fertile ground.
In 2021, Hilman discovered fingerboarding— initially through a simple, mass-produced board bought online. It was a fleeting curiosity at first. But after researching the craft more deeply, he realized fingerboarding was far more nuanced than he’d imagined. Upgrading his setup with quality parts from local suppliers, Hilman found a lasting passion—and he still rides that same board today.
Where his creativity truly bloomed, however, was in park building. Starting small with handmade rails and metal scraps, Hilman gradually expanded his miniature world: building stair sets, curbs, and even architectural facades to bring the parks to life. Settling on a precise 1:8 scale to mirror real skateboard dimensions, he began designing environments that felt grounded and cinematic—like scenes from a skate video frozen in time.
Much of his inspiration comes from online skate footage and social media, where he studies realworld spots like cement benches, tables, and stair ledges, storing images and ideas for future builds. His current park, completed last year, may never truly be “finished”—he sees each new addition as part of a living canvas.
From nailing imagined tricks to receiving global praise for his designs, Hilman’s most memorable moments come from the connection between vision and execution. Looking ahead, he plans to release obstacles—benches, rails, and more—offering the community pieces of his evolving world. Follow his work on Instagram: @32.flip | @thehnh
Meet Hannes Häger — 40-year-old lifer out of Cologne, Germany, who splits his time between being a dad, skating the streets, color-grading films, fingerboarding, and dropping raw, no-filter hip-hop with his two-man crew, Status 2wo.
Hannes started skating back in ’99, when VHS ruled and Tech Decks were currency. Like most kids who couldn’t step away from a board, fingerboarding followed naturally. It wasn’t serious until a Blackriver setup hit his hands—and then it was game over. That obsession turned into First*Try-Fingerboards, his own deck brand. It ran strong until red tape and over saturation slowed it down, but even with the brand shelved, he’s still out here—making decks, reworking broken boards into obstacles, and sponsoring events with DIY love.
Raised on a steady diet of late-‘90s German and U.S. rap, it was only a matter of time before the mic started calling. What began as solo experiments evolved into a four-piece rap group. Life thinned the lineup, and by 2020 it was just Hannes and his partner-in-rhyme. The pandemic didn’t stop ’em—it just forced a rewire. They doubled down, traded verses, built beats, scratched vinyl, and kept creating. The result: Status 2wo, a name flipping Status Quo with a nod to German slang. Just two heads with fulltime jobs, families, and a side hustle that refuses to sleep. 2024 was their year—more shows, more releases, more momentum. The peak? Probably playing a protest gig on the back of a shaking truck in the cold rain with a 14-year-old sound guy—spitting bars against racism and fascism while the streets moved beneath their feet.
And somehow, through all this, fingerboarding connected the dots. A fingerboarder, a rapper, and now a global feature—proof that if you’re passionate enough, the worlds you love collide in the sickest ways.
Hannes isn’t stopping. The decks will keep coming. The beats won’t slow down. And the streets? They’re still calling.

TOBIAS ECKHOFF, 34, is a machinist, CNC programmer, and mechanic by trade—turning raw metal into function at a German construction supply company. But once he clocks out, it’s full-on creative chaos. From jamming on piano keys to building next-level fingerboard setups, Tobias lives for hands-on, DIY action.
He first got into fingerboarding in the early ’90s—Woolworth decks, backyard ramps, and handmade boards courtesy of a friend’s dad. The crew skated hard for five years until teenage life scattered them. Years later, a Tech Deck gifted by his wife on Nikolaus Day lit the fuse again.
Already deep into 3D printing, Tobias started designing his own obstacles. It started with scrap prints, but soon he was pushing boundaries— being one of the first in the community to print with wood and stone composites for a more realistic feel. He didn’t stop there: he began crafting from marble, wood, and metal, added lighting, and even built a fully working fountain with real water.
One of his wildest builds had him up for three straight days, crashing in a sleeping bag next to the printer to monitor every layer. That piece—“Infinity”—was lost in shipping, but its legacy lives on through photos on his page. Tobias is now prepping for a relaunch of his shop, ml3dp.com, and working on silicone molds to cast concrete obstacles. He’s also backing small European events like La Session in France, hosted by @soon.fb and @Rustypeio. For Tobias, find him on instagram @ml3dp.design
