CARD Code of Conduct
To ensure the safety of all participants and staff in our programs, individuals are responsible for adhering to program policies whenever at the program. This includes use of appropriate language, a civil tone of voice, calm demeanor, respecting personal space and maintaining professional boundaries. Any person who does not meet conduct expectations will be asked to leave the premises immediately, and the participant may be removed from the program.
Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction with our programs is important. At Chico Area Recreation and Park District, we constantly strive to provide you with quality recreation programs. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the quality of our programs or instructors, we encourage you to contact us immediately so we can work to resolve any concerns.
Summer Camp Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds, credits, or transfers must be made in person, by email or by phone, and received by Thursday at 10:00 AM prior to the camp start date. Please check dates closely. In the event CARD needs to cancel a camp due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Please refer to the program for additional information and exceptions. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
