They met while both attending Penn State, there was an Art Fest, where students go back to campus for the summer - Leila decided to go the BBQ with one of her friends - little did she know, today was the day she would meet the man with whom she
would spend the rest of her life with. Leila didn’t know anyone at the party besides her friend - Vinny sat across from her and she decided to be nice and introduce herself - from that day on they have not gone a day without speaking. Vinny purchased Leila’s engagement ring from Scotland - The day he proposed he said he was going for a haircut, when he returned he asked Leila to take a walk to the esplanade. As they began walking, Vinny stops her and gets down on one knee and proposes to Leila. The couple decided on a fall wedding - autumn in New England - There is no more beautiful time. Leila and Vinny wanted a fall wedding that would take advantage of the rich colors of the season. The couple wanted to have a wedding celebration that was simple yet elegant. Most important, Leila and Vinny wanted their wedding to reflect the affirmations that were the design inspiration of a drawing Leila had visualized in her head. She drew out a Platform for the ceremony - worried about the size and fitting everyone in the circle, she decided to hire wedding designer - Alexis Eliopoulos O’Mara. Living in the heart of Back Bay they chose the Four Seasons, Boston for its sheer elegance and beautiful backdrop of the Boston Public Gardens.
