Safe zone

The whole project is built around a zombie apocalypse scenario. I designed 3d characters and 3d environment around this scenario. It consists of 3 main characters and rest are zombies. Once the characters were rigged and ready for animation, I rendered out good shots from the scenes.
I made the character iterations in side profiles since these are quick to sketch and they give me a bunch of ideas in short amount of time. I made an adult version of one of my friends and it seemed like a very mature character among the other characters. Even if these iterations can’t be used as the main characters, they can always be used as side characters.
Based on the rough sketches I added a weapon of choice to each of the characters
CHARACTER a: bHAVRAJ
CHARACTER C: AKANKSHA
CHARACTER B: PIYUSH
NOTE: These characters actually exist. I asked my friends whether they were interested in being a 3d character in my story. The outfits in the illustration are the choices of outfits they’d like to wear in my story. The character C wasn’t in my rough sketches since I directly sketched her out on Adobe Photoshop.
CHARACTER a: bHAVRAJ
CHARACTER b: PIYUSH

An axe which is modified as a hammer-axe in a foundry later in the story. The glowing parts of the weapon are burning hot with nuclear radiation. Cuts through the zombie skin like butter.
An Ice axe which is later modified with nuclear power when the characters find an abandoned laboratory. The nuclear battery electrically charges up the edges of the axe which makes it easy for the user eliminate a bunch of zombies at the same time. The electricity immediately makes the zombies brain dead.
The promotional art was later on printed with a height of 20 cm. The rough texture is because of the sanding that was done on the model, in order to remove the 3d print texture.
