The Global Game Changers Children’s Education Initiative introduces a fun, engaging, and userfriendly camp/afterschool program for children ages 5-10 based around compassion, giving, and finding each child’s unique superpower to make the world a better place!

Teaching Tools:

• Curriculum with flexible, easy-to-use , and self-contained lesson plans for a 15-hour program. • Storybook that provides the foundation for the curriculum, about a superhero alliance that searches for real kids doing good things • 12-Badge System representing different types of compassionate causes to help kids find their own passions to give back • Superpower Equation – MY TALENT + MY HEART = MY SUPERPOWER!: Students discover personal ways to give by using their talents to affect causes they care about, making compassion a fun and lasting part of their self-identity.

Program Highlights: • • • • • • • •

Provides a easy-to-read overview of lessons taught. Integrates easily into existing programs with flexible, self-contained lesson plans. Incorporates a broad range of activities including Arts, Recreation, Enrichment, and Group Charity time. Lots of fun for kids with activities such as decorating capes, planting seeds, choreographing dances, coloring pictures, and helping charitable organizations! Empowers campers to know that they have unique talents they can use to make a difference. Encourages campers to become aware of the diversity that enriches their community. Includes additional activities for extension or substitution. Gives camp administrators a materials list for the camp’s duration, plus a list of materials for each day’s lesson plan.

Success Stories:

There’s a lot of value to this program. Plus, it’s visually stimulating and very easy to use, very well laid-out. I could definitely see us using it again. – Kevin Kinney, Executive Director of Shelby Park, Metro Parks, Louisville, KY I’m glad we did it. Kids liked it and parents had positive comments. – Youth Philanthropy Club, Community Foundation of Corydon, IN I am so thankful for the opportunity to implement this program at the center. I also appreciate...we can help make Spokane a better place by investing in these children! - Kate Green, Executive Director of the Northeast Youth Center, Spokane, WA
