Disconnect Days

To support the wellbeing of our staff we set aside two Disconnect Days per year. The first focusses on teams disconnecting with each other outside the office environment at an activity of their choosing. The second supports volunteer efforts and allows teams to give back to organisations within the Pitcher Purpose framework or alternatively an organisation they are passionate about.

Everperform

The platform we use to measure, monitor and respond to changes in staff wellbeing is Everperform. The firm sends weekly pulse surveys, which staff are required to complete.

Parental Leave Policy

Pitcher Partners Sydney values the contribution of all staff and is committed to supporting their decision to have a family and combine work and family responsibilities. We offer eligible staff parental leave provisions in accordance with legislated requirements and additional incentives as provided by the firm. Pitcher Partners Sydney’s parental leave policy encourages staff to return to work following a period of parental leave.

Pitcher Points

Pitcher Points is a key element of our remuneration model. Staff earn points for behaviours aligned to the firm values and actions above and beyond usual scope of work. The framework allows staff to redeem points for a multitude of rewards available.

Pitcher Purpose

A key initiative of the firm’s Strategic Plan to create a formalised ESG program, with initial focus on the ‘S’ of Social. Under Pitcher Purpose is a formal charitable giving program where the firm formally supports four charities per calendar year. Support can include financial donations, internal fundraising events, volunteering of staff time, low or pro-bono work.

Wellbeing Charter

Pitcher Partners Sydney recognises the importance of supporting the wellbeing of all staff and partners. In doing so, it acknowledges and understands the significant impact that work and the workplace can have on an individual’s wellbeing. The Wellbeing Charter sets out the firm’s commitments to ensuring the maintenance of physically and psychologically healthy environments.

Through our Pitcher Purpose program, we have formalised our charitable workplace giving. We run a calendar of fundraising events through the program, as well as provide staff access to our workplace giving platform GoodCompany. The platform allows staff to undertake one-off donations, set up regular payroll giving, participate in fundraising activities and take part in volunteering opportunities when available.
