Or call 585.329.2724 if you would prefer to place your order over the phone. printing & Packaging All designs are letterpress printed. Items are sealed in clear cellophane bags or kraft boxes and must be sold as packaged. Boxed sets may not be split up. Cards are packaged with kraft envelopes unless otherwise noted. Minimums The minimum opening order is $150. Minimum reorders are $75. Minimum order of 6 per design for single cards and 4 per design for all other items. Payment Orders ship prepay by check or credit card. Returned checks subject to $20 fee. After the initial order Net 30 terms are available to accounts in good standing with a credit sheet. turnaround & Shipping Orders ship within 5-7 days unless a specific ship date is provided. All orders are shipped via FedEx Ground or USPS within the continental US. Under $200: +$10, $200-$400: +$15, $400 and over: +$20. International shipping charges will be assessed by the weight of your order. We send tracking info via email as long as we have an email address on file for you. Returns We cannot accept returns unless the merchandise is defective. Claims must be made within three business days of receipt of goods. Orders cancelled three days or more after placement will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Our Environmental Practices We are committed to using environmentally conscious studio practices. We use rubber-based inks and biodegradable citrus-based solvents for press clean up. We use 100% tree-free cotton papers or recycled papers that contain 30% - 100% post-consumer waste.
about pistachio press The beginning Pistachio Press is a print and design studio located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The press was officially launched during the summer of 2007, though it had been functioning informally since 2003 when founder Rachael Hetzel drove 400 miles to buy her first letterpress. Pistachio Press now prints slightly snarky greeting cards and paper products in addition to fine social stationery. About the presses We print on our trusty Vandercook No. 4, two Heidelberg Windmill’s, and a beautiful Chandler & Price platen press. Just like people, the presses each have their own personalities and quirks. And that’s exactly how we like them! Meet Rachael Rachael grew up reading books in the woods of a small town in upstate New York. Her love of printed ephemera led her to complete BFA and MFA degrees in printmaking, which only fueled her passion for paper, ink, design, and heavy equipment. Letterpress printing just felt right. When she isn’t printing, Rachael likes read books with her son, cook elaborate meals with her husband, and cuddle with their two dogs, Cassie (a yellow lab), and Pancake Sue (a super mutt).
