BUSINESS & FINANCIAL PLANNING
The sector of Business Finance emphasizes the role of financial analysts and financial managers in preserving the financial health of a company or industry. Responsibilities of a career in finance may include allocating resources to various functions of a firm, preparing budgets and plans to finance debt and projecting economic variables to a firm.
HUMAN RESOURCES & SPORTS MANAGEMENT
The Business Management sector is dedicated to the coordination and execution of business activities by a firm in order to achieve their objectives. Students in business management study the mechanisms of how a business operates and practice the leadership required in planning and directing business initiatives in order to maximize productivity.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
An entrepreneur performs similar tasks as a business manager, but instead through innovation and development of products or services with their own company. Entrepreneurs lead the establishment of their company and control its growth from a small startup to a sizable company. The creation of a company comes with overall development, marketing, legal and financial synopsis in order to be successful and strategic..
SALES & MARKETING
The work of a marketer involves all activities that promote a company and their products or services. A student in the Marketing sector learns about the decision-making process of a business in order to best engage with its targeted audience.

Have you watched too much Shark Tank and envision your future-self working for or leading a business? The Academy of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation provides students with a strong understanding of business operations in order to pursue a career in the business sector of the economy. Through class study and management of school businesses, students in the sector are prepared for post-graduate studies and careers for many business operations including finance, management, marketing strategy, planning and consulting. Students can participate in internships to gain meaningful knowledge of businesses they have interest in exploring.

Students in the Performing Arts sector have a passion for performing for an audience through dance, drama, or music. Students in this sector practice their creative art while also learning techniques to most effectively express their creative personality on the stage.

The sector of Visual Arts provides students experience in producing various forms of visual art using techniques such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, or graphic design. Students are challenged to sharpen their creative skills in this sector by learning to think critically about their object’s intended message and mastering techniques used in the crafting process.
DIGITAL MEDIA
In the Digital Media sector, multiple mediums and platforms of journalism will be used in order to effectively share a message or tell a story. Students will learn how to effectively curate publications using a combination of these mediums so that multiple elements of the story are able to be shared in the most effective outlet.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic design challenges students to creatively apply design skills and techniques in order to effectively communicate a message. Through this sector, students will also participate in the student-led tshirt design and production business.

FASHIONANDINTERIORDESIGN
The sector of fashion and interior design is driven by social lifestyle, culture, economic behavior, art and expression. A student in this sector explores the intersection of aesthetics and individual creativity to produce designs. Projects in these courses may include from producing clothing designs to staging designs.
RESTAURANTANDEVENTMANAGEMENT
A student in the Restaurant and Event Management sector develops skills needed to successfully coordinate and direct resources in order to assure a restaurant or event runs smoothly and efficiently. This sector emphasizes an understanding of culinary practices as well as the development of leadership skills used in interacting with both staff and customers. Students in this sector complete their studies by working directly with the community on projects and events in order to accomplish goals set individually by the student.
TRAVELANDTOURISM
The Travel and Tourism sector studies the management of travel services for consumers. Examples of travel services and entities include destinations, attractions, airlines, cruise lines, museums, cultural institutions and bookingrelated services. A student in this sector learns and practices the management and hospitality skills necessary to execute the day-to-day tasks of a career in this sector.

PLANT AND ANIMAL SCIENCES
A student in the Plant and Animal Sciences sector studies the care of plants and animals and their interactions together. Plant Sciences includes the plant research, analysis, and the protection of plants in our environment. Animal sciences may include the science and business of caring for livestock species, farm animals or companion animals.
BIOCHEMISTRY AND BIOMEDICAL
Biochemistry is biological chemistry. It is the study of chemistry processes as it relates to living organisms. Biomedical Engineering focuses on the advances in human health and health care at all levels. In these courses students will investigate real challenges in the health and medical world and use problem-solving skills to find solutions.
SPORTS MEDICINE AND EXERCISE SCIENCE
Sports medicine is a branch of medicine that focuses on sports injury and physical fitness. Exercise science promotes health and well-being through finding solutions to inactivity.

This sector will provide foundational skills to pursue a variety of careers in health, sports, and recreation.
