Training Journey

From your initial booking enquiry, our training team will guide you on your learning journey, maintaining regular contact and sending a pre-course survey to assess your current knowledge before the training session.

Our 3-hour training sessions provide insights into the lives of LGBTQIA+ people globally, equipping you with key tools and knowledge to actively support your allyship from the day of the session onward. Together, we’ll explore:

• LGBTQIA+ 101: Understanding acronyms and inclusive language.

• Attraction: Differentiating between sexual and romantic attraction.

• Gender Identity and Expression: Recognising their empowering potential.

• Intersectionality: Understanding considerations and challenges around the layers of identity.

• LGBTQIA+ History and Rights: Examining how legislation and activism create safer spaces.

• Supporting LGBTQIA+ People in the Workplace: Identifying quick wins and long-term actions to enhance empowerment and allyship.

Participants will gain access to valuable resources and further reading to continue their learning journey. We also share group pledges to foster change, and all attendees will receive a certificate of attendance to display with pride.

Proud Allies training is equipping organisations with positive and effective tools so they can create inclusive environments that make the region a safe and welcoming place to live, visit and do business
