Be a part of celebrating love, diversity, and inclusion at this year’s Pride Parade! Join us as we march proudly together from the Town Hall through Centre Square, spreading a message of hope and calling for equality and rights for all.

Celebrate Pride with live performances throughout the day with our hosts Mimi, Monarchy and Bonnie La Bleu’, special guest Lolly, as well as local talent including Tiny Temper, Arya Quinn, Ryan Petitjean and more to be announced. All Ages. Free

PRIDE MARKET

11am - 4pm

Visit our Pride Market to meet and support local services, businesses, artists and makers as they sell their goods, share information and celebrate!

FAMILY ARTS ZONE

11am - 4pm

Express your pride and creativity by taking part in colourful arts and craft workshops with the whole family.

All Ages (Families). Free

PERFORMING ARTS WORKSHOP

9.30am - 11.30am

Interested in acting, singing, movement or writing? Join MTH Performing Arts’ workshop to build your confidence and performance skills as we celebrate pride. Free. Booking Required. Contact: boxoffice@middlesbrough.gov.uk

TEEN ZINE WORKSHOP

Join Sophie Seita for an exciting zine making workshop inspired by LGBTQIA+ stories. No experience needed to attend this free workshop, come along!

Bring family and friends to make your own masterpiece using a range of materials and making techniques at Family Art Trolley. Make a day of it and pick up a picnic from the MIMA Kitchen.

Orange Pip Market is taking place at Middlesbrough Centre Square for Pride and will be packed with artisan food, arts and live music for all to enjoy!

Enjoy live entertainment from a variety of local LGBTQIA+ talent and allies including Jay Moussa-Mann, Juice Pops, Tom Blackwell and Faithful Johannes. All Ages. Free

Middlesbrough Art Week, now presenting its 7th festival edition, a week of exhibitions, talks, workshops, performances, events and exciting public interventions across Middlesbrough.

THESE DEVICES BECAME LAW

A new performance and textile work by Sophie Seita that responds to historical utopias, their flaws and fault lines, and that hooks their faraway-ness to the here and now of material reality.

THE MISFORTUNE TELLER

We can’t wait to celebrate Pride together! In order to keep everyone safe at the Town Hall throughout the day, please note…

Entry to Middlesbrough Town Hall is via the Corporation Road Entrance (opposite Turtle Bay!). See map point A

Entry to the Courtyard is the Corporation Road archway. See map point B

The Dunning Street Archway (opposite Empire) will be exit only. See map point C

Security and bag checks will take place at the point of entry (small bags encouraged!)

Alcohol, illegal substances, weapons or any other items at risk of endangering others will not be permitted.

The Town Hall’s bar will be open with Think 25 and ID checks in place.

Photography and videography will take place throughout the event.

Middlesbrough Pride has a zero tolerance policy for hate crime. Those behaving in a discriminatory manner will be removed immediately.
