Annual Stewardship

Stewardship Ministry Group Report

by George Colberg, Elder

Stewardship has had a busy and productive year where we finished on target with regard to our Stewardship pledge campaign. We have been providing an ongoing discussion and illustrations of what “Whole Life Stewardship” looks like and how we live it out in our lives. Our pledge campaign in 2022 carried the theme of Connect: God – World – Community for the Pandemic period. Looking toward 2023, the Stewardship Committee spent much of 2022 preparing for the campaign with a theme of Open Wide Our Hearts.

The Stewardship committee has been evaluating new methods of communication about stewardship and areas of need to support our ministry, while also sharing opportunities to utilize the time and talents of our congregation as well as treasure. Our goal is to lift up the growing needs of a growing church. Pinnacle Presbyterian Church has become a leader in the denomination and is a testament to the faithful and generous nature of our community. The 2023 Stewardship campaign of “Open Wide Our Hearts,” reflects the need for resources to be in place for our expanding staff, and to add our new staff in areas like the children’s ministry. All the pieces are in place, God calls us to serve in many ways, and the ability of the Pinnacle congregation to pull together and to support new and previously unseen opportunities to grow closer to the community and the world in which we serve a loving, kind and compassionate God.

The Stewardship committee wishes to thank the congregation for your warm support and caring gifts.
