De eerste solotentoonstelling in de Rabo Kunstzone is een feit. Daarmee is een droom uitgekomen. En misschien wel meer dan dat. Met de solotentoonstelling een kernkunstenaar uit onze Rabo Kunstcollectie een stap verder helpen in zijn of haar oeuvre. Alicia Framis is de uitdaging aangegaan en heeft ons meegenomen op een ontdekkingsreis van dromen, vertrouwen en vooral ook: het beste uit jezelf halen. Elke dag weer. Alicia Framis ontwikkelde maar liefst vier nieuwe werken voor DAILY FUTURE. De Rabo Kunstzone werd door haar getransformeerd in een ruimte waarin ze bezoekers meeneemt naar het dagelijks leven op de maan, in de ruimte, langs denkbeeldige steden om vervolgens weer terug te keren op aarde. U kunt innovatieve producten bekijken en uitproberen, wegdromen bij een gesimuleerde ruimtemissie van zes astronauten in de woestijn, een bericht versturen naar de ruimte of uw schreeuw laten omzetten in een totaal nieuw object. Alicia Framis wil met haar kunst mensen bij elkaar brengen, ervaringen The first solo exhibition in the Rabo Art Zone has become a reality. This has been a dream in the making, and could turn out to be even more than that. The objective of a solo exhibition is to help a core artist in our Rabo Art Collection take the next step with his or her works. Alicia Framis accepted the challenge and has taken us on a journey of dreams, trust and, more than anything else: bringing out the best in yourself, every single day. Alicia Framis created no less than four new works for DAILY FUTURE. She turned the Rabo Art Zone into a room that transports its visitors to day-to-day life on the moon, in to space, past imaginary cities and, finally, back to earth. You can look at and test/try out innovative products, dream away with a simulated space mission of six astronauts in the desert, send a message to space or have your scream converted into a totally new object. Alicia Framis wants her art to bring people together, and uses it to share experiences and inspire new ideas. Through DAILY FUTURE, she stimulates conversation on new possibilities in the future.

In de voorbereiding op deze tentoonstelling heeft Alicia Framis al meerdere mensen geïnspireerd en aan het denken gezet. De conservatoren van de Rabo Kunstzone die intensief met haar samenwerkten. De aardappelleverancier Wouter Mutsaers die de beste aardappelen leverde voor het vijf meter hoge kunstwerk Screaming Room. Maar ook wetenschapsjournalist Govert Schilling, die filosofeert over een reële toekomst in de ruimte. En zeven Rabobankmedewerkers die vertellen tot welke dromen, ideeën of gedachten een kunstwerk uit de tentoonstelling aanzette. Iedereen deelt zijn ervaring.
DAILY FUTURE neemt de bezoeker mee op reis door ruimte en tijd. Alicia Framis (1967) brengt nieuwe en bestaande projecten krachtig samen in een unieke omgeving: de Rabo Kunstzone. DAILY FUTURE takes the visitor on a trip through space and time. Alicia Framis (1967) powerfully unites four new and three existing projects in a unique environment: the Rabo Art Zone.

Even in preparing for this exhibition, Alicia Framis inspired several people and gave them food for thought. The curators of the Rabo Art Zone who cooperated closely with her. Potato supplier Wouter Mutsaers, who supplied his best potatoes for the five meter high work of art Screaming Room. But also science journalist Govert Schilling, who ponders an actual future in space. And finally, seven Rabobank employees who tell of the dreams, ideas and thoughts that a piece of art in the collection inspired in them. Everyone shares their experience. And that is exactly the dialogue that we wanted to bring about with the Rabo Art Zone. So now it is up to you: go on an adventure in your DAILY FUTURE!
Introductiefilm: Alicia Framis Leer Alica Framis kennen Rabobank volgt de van oorsprong Spaanse kunstenares Alicia Framis al sinds zij in 1996 afstudeerde aan de Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. In de introductiefilm bij de tentoonstelling vertellen Alicia Framis en hoofd Kunstzaken Ella van Zanten over de sleutelwerken uit haar internationale carrière en over STORE de voorbereidingen op deze tentoonstelling: DAILY FUTURE. Rabobank has been following the Spanish-born artist Alicia Framis ever since she graduated at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in 1996. In the introduction video to the exhibition, Alicia Framis and Head of Art Department Ella van Zanten tell about Alicia’s key works from her international career and the preparations to this exhibition: DAILY FUTURE.
