Pine Crest School's Guide to Giving and Getting Involved
The Pine Crest Way
Giving and Getting Involved at Pine Crest School
“Volunteering has been a rewarding way for me to connect with our school community. My involvement has boosted my confidence in both my parenting and school choice. Serving as the Boca Parents’ Association President has been the most fulfilling volunteer experience I have ever had. I feel genuinely supported by both the faculty and fellow families and appreciated for my efforts. Best of all, it has been a tremendous amount of fun.”
- Kira White, President of the Boca raton Parents’ association
Getting Involved Connect
There are many ways for parents, alumni, parents of alumni and grandparents to share their time with our community.
Parents’ Associations Volunteer with Philanthropic Engagement
The Parents’ Associations foster a strong partnership between families and the school to support students’ academic and personal growth. Whether you serve on the executive board, volunteer for a committee, attend meetings or participate in school events, your involvement makes a profound impact.
There are three Parents’ Associations: the Boca Raton Parents’ Association (PA) on the Boca Raton campus and the Lower School Family Association (LSFA) and the Middle and Upper School Parents’ Association (MUSPA) on the Fort Lauderdale campus.
Current families may log in to My Pine Crest and visit the Division tiles for more information about the Parents’ Associations.
As a Pine Crest Giving Ambassador, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting philanthropic initiatives across campus. This partnership helps ensure our students and faculty feel inspired and supported by our Pine Crest community and allows us the opportunity to respond to the school’s areas of greatest need each year.
In this role you will:
• Engage with fellow parents and alumni to share the importance and impact of giving;
• Encourage participation in annual giving from all families, however that looks for them, and;
• Thank families for their support, helping to build a sense of community and collective commitment to Pine Crest’s mission.
Once a Panther, Always a Panther!
While you may no longer be roaming the hallways, running drills on the field or singing in the chorus, there is still a place for you and your fellow Pine Crest alumni to connect with old friends and reminisce with new ones about life at Pine Crest.
Join fellow Pine Crest School alumni on Pine Crest Connect, a social network just for alumni. www.pinecrestconnect.com
We invite you to join fellow alumni and faculty at reunions and receptions, stay engaged in the life of the School by attending events on campus, volunteering, making a philanthropic gift to further our School’s mission and showcase the many ways in which Pine Crest alumni thrive by offering your time to speak with students.
“I had the chance to visit Pine Crest recently. I fell in love with it all over again! I hope to eventually send my own kids to Pine Crest when the time comes, where they too can learn the importance of hard work and being globally connected.”
