ACE Scholarships is thrilled to host coach, philanthropist, former NFL and MLB player, and Football Hall of Famer Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders as the keynote speaker for the 2023 ACE Scholarships Annual Luncheon.
In 2022, Coach Prime was named the 28th full-time head football coach at the University of Colorado. He joins the CU program from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. In three seasons, the Tigers compiled a 27-5 record and won back-to-back Southwestern Athletic Conference championships competing on the Football Championship Subdivision level.
Prior to his sports analyst and coaching career, he played in the NFL for 14 seasons and the MLB for 9 seasons. “Prime Time” is the only athlete to ever play in both a Super Bowl and the World Series. He is also the only player ever to hit an MLB home run and score an NFL touchdown in the same week. He played in the 1992 World Series, is a back-to-back Super Bowl Champion, and has been inducted into both the College and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
He is the proud father of five children: sons Deion Jr., Shilo, and Shedeur, and daughters Deiondra and Shelomi.
