Florence Community Services Activity Guide

A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear Florence Community,

Spring is on the way, and with it comes a whole new season of things to do, explore, and enjoy here in Florence. Our Community Services team is excited to share the Spring Activity Guide, filled with programs, events, and activities for all ages and interests. Whether you’re hoping to spend time outdoors, join a favorite annual tradition, or try something new with friends or family, you’ll find plenty to look forward to.

If you love the outdoors, we invite you to experience the beauty of Poston Butte and our desert trails – perfect for hiking, spotting wildlife, and taking in the scenery that makes Florence unique. Teens will see even more opportunities this season, with safe, fun, and engaging activities created just for them. We’re also thrilled to welcome back the Road to Country Thunder, bringing live music, high-energy performances, and that unmistakable festival vibe right here to town. And of course, families won’t want to miss our annual EGGstravaganza, packed with activities, entertainment, and springtime fun.

History lovers can look forward to a special milestone – the 40th Annual Florence Home Tour – celebrating four decades of showcasing the charm, craftsmanship, and stories of our historic homes.

Alongside these community events, our Library and Recreation divisions are offering a full mix of programs – arts and crafts, fitness classes, youth sports, technology workshops, and more. No matter your age or stage of life, our department is committed to providing opportunities that inspire creativity, learning, wellness, and connection.

Thank you for being part of the community that makes Florence such a welcoming and vibrant place. We look forward to seeing you out and about this season – there truly is something for everyone.
