“Cloud 9” is a doodle artwork representing an escape from reality and an idealist and utopian world. I auctioned this artwork for 15KRMBanddonatedthemoneytosupport children with CHD (Congenital Heart Disease).

Theword“Perditus”isLatinfor“Lost.”Icreated this doodle artwork while preparing for my Grade 5 Exhibition on Endangered Languages. The artwork is made up of characters from endangered languages such as Navajo and Afaca.Theyincludewordslike“water”or“life.”

Throughthisartwork,Iwanttoconvey the importance of preserving endangered languages. Languages are the cornerstones of one’s culture and values and play a focal role in shaping one’s identity. When we lose a language, we lose the chance of learning about a unique group people and understanding their customs,behavior,andhistory.

of Life” is a print artwork I created during the Covid-19 pandemic. The branches of the tree reach into the sky, symbolizing hope inchallengingtimes.

The title of the artwork is French for “The Forbidden Flower.” This is an allusion to the Garden of Eden and the ForbiddenFruit.Throughthisartwork,Iwant to convey to my audience the duality of beauty and the nature of temptation and desiretowardssocialtaboos.

Deorum” is Latin for “The Flower of the Gods.” It is a collage artworkdepictingasunflowerand ahandpositionedintheBuddhist gesture of Karana Mudra, a hand gesture with which demons and evilspiritsareexpelled.

TheYungangGrottoes

Thisdoodleartworkwascreatedafter my visit to the Yungang Grottoes of Northern China. I was inspired by the sculptures and frescoes of Buddhas and wanted to add my own touch to this facet of Chinese culture and history.
