WHAT IS A COOP? A Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) outlines the activities our department will perform to ensure our essentials functions will continue. We have operations that must be performed, or quickly resumed, in an emergency. It is with this mission in mind that the Pierce County Auditor’s Office has developed a COOP. While we cannot predict the type of emergency situation, we can mitigate the impact of the emergency on our staff, our facilities, our mission, and ultimately the public.
