01 RIM TALAE vacation home

This project is to design a vacation home near the shore line. RIM TALAE means near the shoreline. I decided to choose sand and and white color as the main color of the building, to disguise with the sand. Wood is choose for the roof to represents the palm tree.

02 BREACK HOUSE house & cafe

This project is to design a vacation home for an Archaeologist. The site located at Ayutthaya, Thailand, near Pa-sak river.

Ayutthaya was the one of the most ancient city in Thailand. So there are many archaeological site here. When think of the ancient building, it reminds me of ruined ancient building which have many cracks and made out of an old bricks.

Brick is the main material using in this project and I named this house BREACK from thw word brick and break

03 CHIANGMAI BUS TERMINAL bus terminal

This project is a new Chiangmai bus terminal. The purpose of this project is to design the circulation of a big vehicles like buses and to present the identity of chiangmai through architecture.

Borsang umbrella is the local products of Chiangmai. It have been known for century for its uniqueness. So i design to express the identity of Chiangmai through the structure. I choose steel tree structure to present the shape of borsang umbrella.

04 LIVE WITH FLOOD

architectural & urban design to adapt with flood problem

“Plan A” is over. Time for “Plan B” in water territories This project is a work from my P45 master program(my exchange program at ENSAV). It is to design in the context that have the problematique that going to happen in the near future. Scope of this project is anything that related to the water on Brittany, France.

Climate change make sea level rising and the flood going to happen frequently. My point of interest is to work on a coastal area that have the flood problems and tend to submerge in the future.

As i did more research on Brittany, I found a place that matching all of my interests and that place is Saint-malo, Bretagne, France.

CHARACTERISTICS OF SAINT-MALO

Saint-malo is a historic French port located on the North-east of Brittany. Saint-malo was known for the ramparts, fortresses and its beautiful wooden piles breakwaters along the coastline that have been protect this city for a long period of time.

DETAIL HOW TO DEAL WITH THE WATER IN FLOOD POND 1. wait for the water to evaporate naturally

but in saint-malo the type of flood that happen is the coastal flood so if we wait for the water to evaporate the salt will stuck on the flood pond and it will create the fishy smell 2. install the drainage system under the pond

3. turn it into sea pool If there is too much water we can turn it in a sea pool to make a new space for people to have the water activities. reference : Saint-Malo Beach Swimming pool

Harbour is the first area that got a major affects from the coastal floods. Boat parking area is going to be submerged. So I decided to did a research on this area and it shows that this area is already use TOOLBOX (amphibious and floating structure) on the boat parking area.

ELEVATE Relocated the critical system and objects that store in the industry.

INDUSTRIAL AREA

Major part of industrial area in Saint-malo are in the flood zone. So I choose to protect the objects and machines that stored inside the industry by elevating all the stuff that can move. For the immobile objects I decide to installed the flood resilient wall to protect it from flood.

The only train station in this area are going to flood. So I decided to elevated the station and add a flood pond along the railway to capture the flood water before it goes to the railways. With this strategies the original platform and railways is preserved, No need to reconstucted.

05 ZON-TUA design with philosophy

This project is a final assignment from the Architecture and Modern Culture.

It is a research studies on Architecture and Philosophy, How architectural development in the context of modern culture and How can philosophy impact the idea in an architectural design process. So the goal of this assignment is to design an architecture through the philosopher point of view.

Meaning of ZON-TUA( ) is to seek. Due to the site surrounding, the concept of this projects is “camouflage”. It is to disguised the surrounded buildings, mostly are shophouses, by trace the façade of the building from shophouses but it will differ from the surrounded building by the image inside.

06 TUMMADA

MQDC design competition 2023

This project is a competition for MQDC. It is to design an Event and Festival Space in public areas to stimulate the economy and enhance the relationships of people in the community.

TUMMADA (ordinary) is a normal life of people that who want peace from time to time and sometimes want new unusual thing to happen in their lives.

So our group chose to combine the calmness of religious and the vibrant of life with the design.

Meaning of TUM is dharma and TUMMADA means normal.

ACTIVITY TUMMADA (ordinary) is an activity that accompanies the exhibition. The intention is to bring religious concepts to present through design.

This event will separate activities into 2 zones.

The area has been developed from desolated area into an activity area. Curved steel frame used in exhibition for hanging installation art. The activity area surrounding by the small garden for take a rest. There is a cafe and kiosk within the park and a playground for children in the area to help enhance the development of children in the community.

When the area is unoccupied, it becomes a sports field for the people in the community.
