DEMYSTIFYING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

PICPA Rizal Chapter for the fiscal year 2022-2023 conducted its fifteenth webinar during this pandemic. The webinar entitled “Demystifying Artificial Intelligence” was conducted with Resource Speaker, Mr. Rodrigo D. Casiano Jr. via Zoom platform. This was attended by 194 participants. The webinar was competently handled by Ms. Dineth S. Larsen, Chapter Director for Commerce and Industry, as the Moderator. The webinar was conducted to discuss the importance of Artificial Intelligence in today’s environment and its impact on the accounting profession. The resource speaker discussed first the definition and components of AI and making them understand by giving examples. This was followed by applications and common misconceptions of AI, then the capabilities of AI. Also, he discussed the AI learning models and examples. And lastly, the Importance of quality data for AI.
