TAX CLINIC: INCOME TAX DEDUCTION "A DETAILED DISCUSSION"

On February 22, 2023, PICPA Rizal Chapter in collaboration with PICPA Laguna Chapter, PICPA Lipa Chapter, and PICPA Occidental Mindoro Chapter conducted a Tax Clinic Seminar to fellow colleagues in the profession. The said seminar was done through Zoom platform. This is in line with the community projects in relation to profession of the chapters.

100 Years Celebration Of Accountancy Profession In The Philippines

In celebration of Centenary of the Accountancy Profession in the Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants had organized activities for its week-long celebration of the said event. The celebration started with a Tree Planting, followed by Alay Lakad, Motorcade and Thanksgiving Mass. On the day of centenary event, March 17, a big concluding bash was held at Grand Ballroom of the Manila Hotel that mark the culmination of the 100th year anniversary celebration of the Accountancy Profession in the Philippines.

PICPA Rizal Chapter also organized events to support the celebration of this landmark event by celebrating a Thanksgiving Mass at Antipolo Cathedral, parade from Antipolo Cathedral to Ynares Event Center and this was followed by having Tree Planting at Barangay Calawis Antipolo City on March 12. Also on March 13, the Chapter attended a webinar hosted by the Board of Accountancy entitled " The Future of BOA and Philippine Accountancy Profession.

On March 14 to 16, the Chapter led by Ms. Rosemarie Gatlabayan attended the three-day conference held at Ynares Center, Antipolo City. The said conference was Philippine Association of Local Government Accountants Inc 15th Southern Luzon Geographical Conference. It was attended by all government accountants in the Philippines.

On the day of centenary event, the Chapter also attended the Liga ng mga Punong Barangays of Antipolo with COMELEC Officer Atty. Joseph Vega at the session hall of Barangay De la Paz Antipolo City. After the said session, a Get Together Celebration by the officers and members of the Chapter at Romeo's Restaurant Antipolo City was held. The said get-together celebration was held to join simultaneously the online coverage of the centennial celebration being held at Manila Hotel.
