UNCOVERING ISQM 1 AND 2: ASSURANCE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM COMPONENTS

PICPA Rizal Chapter for the fiscal year 20222023 conducted its fourth seminar during this pandemic. The seminar entitled “Preparing for Quality Assurance Review (QAR): Uncovering ISQM 1 and 2: Assurance Quality Management System Components” was conducted with Resource Speaker, Mr. Mark Benedict M. Guia at Ynares Event Center Antipolo City. This was attended by 44 participants The seminar was competently handled by Mr. Robert S. Arellano, Chapter President-Elect, as the Moderator. The seminar was conducted to comprehensively discuss the needed implementation of Quality Assurance review program, familiarization of the international standard on quality management is crucial since it will be the framework of the program of the public practitioners in the Philippines. The resource speaker fist discussed the General Concept of a Quality Management System for Assurance Services. Followed by how the risk assessment will flow or its process which eventually tackled the six components of risk assessment process. And lastly, the resource speaker discussed the requirements of an engagement of quality review requirements.
