COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT PROJECTS

On July 31, 2021, PICPA Rizal Chapter turnover computer desktop and printer to a Daycare Center in Brgy. San Luis, Antipolo City and tree planting in Sitio Tarikan. The Tree planting and Desktop & Printer Donation was headed by Southern Tagalog Regional Director Ex Officio Betty B. Esplana, President Elect Rosemarie Gatlabayan and Chapter Director in Commerce and Industry, America Albert in cooperation with Antipolo City Police Station led by Chief of Police PLTCOL Jose Joey C. Arandia and his Personnels and staff of Barangay San Luis. Various Antipolo Youth Groups also participated in the activity: Lower Kalupa Youth Organization, Tarikan Youth Organization, Upper Kalupa Youth Organization, Bayugo Youth Organization at Tarikan Kids. Tree planting has become a significant annual activity of the Chapter; a small act of kindness that will surely reap great harvest for the benefit of tomorrow’s generation.

Social responsibility is a program to which PICPA Rizal Chapter genuinely adheres. For this year, through the effort of President Elect Rosemarie C. Gatlabayan, the Chapter coordinated with BIR RDO 045 – Marikina for a one‐hour of webinar on CREATE Law. This partner‐ ship is designed to educate Barangay staff regarding the changes in withholding of Gross Money Payment from payments to suppliers The first and second batch was held on August 10 and August 31, 2021 respectively.
