The first webinar was conducted on July 16, 2021. The resource speaker, Dr. Enrique C. Pinos discussed extensively the provisions of the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises Act or CREATE, its Incentives and Complexities. It was offered free to all members in good standing (MIGS) while Non‐Members and Non‐MIGS paid a webinar fee. The Chapter recorded a maximum of 352 participants.

PICPA Rizal Chapter conducted a webinar on Digital Transformation: Challenges and Opportunities in the Accountancy Profession on August 12, 2021. The speaker Mr. Howell V. Mabalot, discussed extensively the necessary skills to cope with rapid changes and adapt to the digital transformation along the way that shall increase your chances of surviving both as a professional and as a person. Digital transformation discussion focuses on understanding the threat and great opportunities to the accounting profession. It also tackled the uses of present and emerging technologies that can further propel accountants to success in new and more empowering ways than before. The Chapter recorded a maximum of 133 participants, all of them earned the 1.5 CPD units.

On August 21, Leadership Coaching and Mentoring in the 21st Century webinar is offered. The webinar discussed the generation gap between modernists and traditionalists. Afterwards, the resource speaker discussed the challenges of mentoring and coaching the young employees or professionals in a workplace because of the different perspectives. The resource speaker also gave the participants new insight and specific tools to lead their organizations more effectively and develop better relations with subordinates and colleagues. The Chapter recorded 102 participants.

Basics of Internal Control webinar resource speaker, Ms. Ma. Elma L. Ilagan discussed the concepts of business risk, governance, internal audit and internal control on September 18, 2021. The webinar fees were offered to MIGS and Non‐MIGS and paid Php375.00 and Php500.00 each respectively. The Chapter recorded a maximum of 77 participants, all of them earned the 1.5 CPD Units. Basics of Internal Control discussion emphasized that it is a process, effected by an organization’s people, designed to pro‐ vide reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of objectives such as effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of reporting and compliance with laws and regulations. Questions and comments were raised after the discussion which were all addressed by the speaker.
