BAN TA NOI Year : 2015-2016 School Project

BAN TA NOI ‘Ban Ta Noi 001’ is a mobile unit prototype for kidney disease patience to do themselves dialysis; to reduce cost for many poor patience in countryside.

We named this after a guy we made this unit for. He got manyseriously sick; Kidney disease, Diabetes, Gout and Amnesia. His family can’tafford treatment costs. To help him, my team and officers from Lamnaraihospital worked together.

His home; ‘Ta Noi’ stayed We called him ‘Ta Noi’

downstairs, he cannot walk much.

His bed; ‘Ta Noi’ have to collected everything by his bed because if not he will fotget it.

Patience need to spend most of their daily in this mobile unit.

So, this unit need to make them feel as comfortable as we can.

After discussed with hospital officers we came out with 7 requirements; doors and windows for ventilation and also waterproof for rainy season, medical equipment set sink and gabage bin with lid that could open with step instead of hand switches.

After the first prototype came out, we went back to see Ta Noi with 1:1 plan.

N Site Surrounding; with the site surrounded by touristic places that will be easily access by both predestrians and vehicles

THE DEATH RAIL WAY MUSEUM This project is a works together between The State Railway of Thailand and The governor of Kanchanaburi city, to build the museum that telling to story of The Starting of Kanchanburi’s railway that was build in WWII. Working in connect with Hell Fire Pass Museum that settle on another historical site.

With the site settle on the end of River Kwai Railway Bridge that allow tourists to walking along from Ban Mae Nam Kwai Railway station, site is easily access by predestrains, vehicles; by the road at the south west of the side and also a tourist peir that exist on site.

I choose the movie “ The Railway Man ” that telling the effect of the war on both Japanese soldiers and the POW (Prey of War) to be the main storyline of the exhibition, so the museum will working with 2 mains exhibitions that telling the stories of both of the side in the war, with trying to connect both of the routes smoothly together.

Main Circulation; according to the idea with 2 main exhibition halls with attempted to connect both of the routes smoothly together.

With stairs hall in the middle of the building, both of exhibition will seperated from each other in the front and connected again with the main corridor at the back. At the ground floor, the stairs hall will also seperated the back of house funtions from souvenir shop also.

Natural lights; to create the feeling of working in the cave that was working site of POW, exhition spaces will be narrow with dimming lights by bringing in the natural lights from the outside that will changing during the day.

4 WOODMONT Year : 2019 Location: Bangkok, Thailand Architect: Site Specific Lighting Designer: Solas Client: Woodmont

WOODMONT Woodmont is a law firm that planning to move their office to the old building in Soi Nana, near the old town of Yaowarat. With owner would like to use spaces as both work spaces and meeting spaces for his friends, Site Specific as architect came up with oreintal art and the functions that easily to change.

Solas decided to use the lightings with dimmer that allow the spaces to completely change mood and tone during day and night.
