The demeaning tale of Adam's rib is thus revealed as a propagandistic device intended to advance an attitude of male superiority.

The Nag Hammadi Library The Apocryphon of John (The Secret Book of John - The Secret Revelation of John) "Now up to the present day, sexual intercourse continued due to the chief archon. And he planted sexual desire in her who belongs to Adam. And he produced through intercourse the copies of the bodies, and he inspired them with his counterfeit spirit. In another scripture from the same collection, entitled On the Origin of the World, we find further amplification of this theme. Here Eve whose mystical name is Zoe, meaning life, is shown as the daughter and messenger of the Divine Sophia, the feminine hypostasis of the supreme Godhead:

Sophia sent Zoe, her daughter, who is called "Eve," as an instructor in order that she might raise up Adam, in whom there is no spiritual soul so that those whom he could beget might also become vessels of light. When Eve saw her companion, who was so much like her, in his cast down condition she pitied him, and she exclaimed: "Adam, live! Rise up upon the earth!" Immediately her words produced

a result for when Adam rose up, right away he opened his eyes. When he saw her, he said: "You will be called 'mother of the living', because you are the one who gave me life."

We hope our mothers Are our mothers

In this fathers issue of physical divine. On hours, hours on the horns. I decided to come back to life as a living ghost to my memory. Travelling in my favourite thoughts assisted by my most intimate mantras. Devising to record my personal journey as a truth seeker. Reminded very much by Me’shell Ndengeocello in her album Peace Beyond Passion ..”You are in truth the truth you seek.” Moses 1391 – 1271 BC inspires a historic dedication, with his influence in the Hebrew bible, Qu’ran and Torah. This slave born prince of Egypt reveals the human drama behind the horns as well as the secret knowledge we are calling physical divine. Keeping within the UNiSEX theme we encounter horns as various metaphors. Forgetting time while joining timelessness in the polarities involving horniness, blood, being and becoming nucleus while merging with other cells.

Eggs! Ovaries. Anatomical violence, horns pierce nature and stir us together removing the shelter of species and join the soul in asking.. “how far am I in becoming one with everything?” Distance this time is not measured in hours, but in ounces. Weighing and measuring ones growth by penetrating what we understand. Unclothing consciousness once again and using a weapon to search for truths. Antlers return the horns to the mystical bisexual nature of the tree like aspect of the horn. The exoskeletal, ethereal halo or horn. Wing or tail. Angel or demon. In as many colours of heaven and hell preferred. One Lineage One Love. Nosana Editor

In the same scripture, the creator and his companions whisper to each other while Adam sleeps: "Let us teach him in his sleep as though she (Eve) came to be from his rib so that the woman will serve and he will be lord over her."

The Western theologian Paul Tillich interpreted this scripture declaring that "the Fall" was a symbol for the human situation, not a story of an event that happened "once upon a time."

Of our identity

Tillich said that the Fall represented "a fall from the state of dreaming innocence" in psychological terms, an awakening from potentiality to actuality. Tillich's view was that this "fall" was necessary to the development of humankind.

Protect us?

Polarity Isn't 'bad' in itself. Source/God projects creation by polarising within itself. It projects consciousness into separate units, be they dimensions, galaxies, planets, human bodies or particles. These interact with each other and the consciousness flows back into its inherent unity in source. There is a natural creative process of polarisation and integration. We wouldn't regard the polarity in an electrical battery, the + and -, as bad. The problem arises where the flow back into integrity with source is blocked for any reason, i.e. where the natural flows are distorted or blocked. It is such distortions that are the problem more than the polarity. It's not so much our 'souls' or higher parts that we need worry about saving. There are parts of us beyond polarity. But we needn't worry about these. It's our lower parts that are caught in the drama and potentially in jeopardy that need our attention. We have projected part of our consciousness into our physical bodies, into every organ, cell and atom. It is this 'bodily consciousness' that is most in need of securing. It's more a case of 'save our bodies', i.e. body consciousness, than the more traditional 'save our souls'! If we detach from the physical realities of our bodies and the drama in which they are enmeshed and seek refuge in the more comfortable spaces of our soul we risk losing a valuable part of our identities. It's not about right and wrong nor good and bad anymore. It's about realism and effectiveness. It's about what works and doesn't, in terms of bringing as much of ourselves and of other parts of creation that we impact back into integrity with source as we can. We don't have centuries to sit around figuring the niceties of things anymore. The need is for enlightened and effective action. Prepared for Azurite Press By: Rosaleen & Noel Tobin

The Nag Hammadi Library The Apocryphon of Phillip (The Secret Book of Phillip God is a man-eater. For this reason, men are sacrificed to him. Before men were sacrificed, animals were being sacrificed, since those to whom they were sacrificed were not gods. Glass decanters and earthenware jugs are both made by means of fire. But if glass decanters break, they are done over, for they came into being through a breath. If earthenware jugs break, however, they are destroyed, for they came into being without breath. An ass which turns a millstone did a hundred miles walking. When it was loosed, it found that it was still at the same place. There are men who make many journeys, but make no progress towards any destination. When evening came upon them, they saw neither city nor village, neither human artifact nor natural phenomenon, power nor angel. In vain have the wretches labored. The eucharist is Jesus. For he is called in Syriac "Pharisatha," which is "the one who is spread out," for Jesus came to crucify the world. The Lord went into the dye works of Levi. When the light comes, then he who sees will see the light, and he who is blind will remain in darkness."
