The People’s Proms Concert…
Designed by www.purplelilydesign.co.uk
As the sun rose on a glorious Saturday in July and with over 800 tickets sold suggesting we’d caught the mood of the town perfectly, A Night at the Proms raised a chord to a new creative venture between the Alton Concert Orchestra, Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company and Phoenix Arts. Indicative of a broadening of our cultural offer and with community to the fore, A Night at the Proms was themed as a celebration of new beginnings in Whitehill & Bordon and promises to be a regular event, sited and showcasing the wonderful Town Park adjacent to The Shed. With interest already strong for 2023, please put Saturday 8 July in your diary and I’ll confirm when tickets for the next Proms concert go on sale. Some of you might have noticed a subtle change in our branding to Phoenix Arts. It’s nothing to worry about, but is again a sign of our ambition and intention to become an umbrella arts organisation, signposting customers from across the district to the creative opportunities emanating out of Whitehill & Bordon. This will be backed up by a new ticketing system in September and a new website going live in January Hampshire’s2023.friendliest little venue is proud to be associated with and play its part in the creative redevelopment of Whitehill & Bordon.
