2006 Convention - Rock Your World Convention is coming! The 52nd National Convention will take place in Cleveland, Ohio July 19-23, 2006. Conventions past have seen incredible musical activities, unforgettable brotherhood experiences and fascinating legislative debate. This year, there’s only one question:

ARE YOU READY TO ROCK? Rock out with... The Cleveland Indians We’ll be taking in a little baseball! After a pre-game Sinfonia Sing, we’ll be enjoying a ballpark buffet feast fit for a rock star. Not only that, but one hundred lucky brothers will have the honor of singing the National Anthem on the field!

Rock out with... Maynard Ferguson You’ve heard his one-of-a-kind style, now meet the master in person! He will receive the Fraternity’s highest musical honor, the Man of Music Award, at this year’s Convention. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet one of the most well-known trumpeters in the world!

Rock out with... The Cleveland Orchestra

Rock out with... Sinfonia Winds

On night three of the Convention, we’ll be traveling to the famous Blossom Music Center, which is the outdoor concert venue of The Cleveland Orchestra. During the concert, National President Richard Crosby will present the Orchestra with the Fraternity’s prestigious National Citation award in front of thousands of concert goers. You just can’t miss it!

Finally, a chance for you to do a little rockin’ of your own! Col. John Bourgeois, former director of the “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band and active clinician and educator will be leading an ensemble composed of brothers like you! This event is first-come, first-served, so sign up today and don’t miss this rare chance to experience rehearsing and performing with a modern master.

Rock out at... The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame What better place to spend a rockin’ Convention than at one of the world’s most interesting musical attractions! Join us and check out the museum’s permanent collection, which houses thousands of the most important and rare items of rock’s most celebrated artists. Explore “RESPECT: The Sound of Soul,” which presents dozens of artifacts chronicling the lives and careers of soul music’s most influential performers. And find your favorite song in “500 Songs That Shaped Rock & Roll,” chosen by the curatorial staff. All of this combined with the Hall of Fame itself makes for an experience no true rocker can live without!

Wait! There’s More! Informative educational sessions, musical performance opportunities, an initiation ritual, historic legislative action, brotherhood and fellowship beyond compare — all this and more await this year’s convention attendees. Now, the question is:
